Veerle De Wispelaere

Communications Manager

Veerle is i~HD’s communications consultant. She brings extensive experience in health communications having worked for Euromut, a mutual health insurance fund, and for AZ Groeninge, a Flemish hospital. Her knowledge of the Belgian health care sector is a major asset to contribute to the further development of i~HD. Veerle is passionate about understanding peoples’ perspectives, challenging and connecting all stakeholders in the pursuit of a common goal and the creation of convincing win-win situations. Planning, coordinating and communicating have always been at the heart of her activities. As such, she is involved in a large variety of jobs to help co-ordinate the initiatives, strategies and services i~HD is developing to improve health care and accelerate research. Veerle holds a master’s degree in Translation at the Provinciale Hogeschool voor Vertalers en Tolken (Ghent) and a master-after-master in Marketing at the Haute Ecole Commerciale Saint-Louis (Brussels).
