The European Institute of Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) is announcing its participation in the eight European Conference on Health Law. The theme of next year’s event is “Quality of Care” and one session of the programme will discuss quality of health data governance. This goes hand-in-hand with i~HD’s vision of multi-stakeholder collaboration in the trustworthy use of high quality health data to continuously improve care and accelerate research.
Through different projects, i~HD also delivers education in topics including the quality of data, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and accelerating research by making greater use of health data. These are among the subjects to be covered by the Health Law Conference.
Health Law 2022 is co-organised by Prof. dr. Tom Goffin, also a member of i~HD’s team of data protection experts. The conference is scheduled to run from 20 to 22 April 2022 in Ghent, Belgium.
