i~HD was a contributing partner in a virtual half day event held on Monday 26th October, hosted by one of our founding member organisations, TMF.
This event, under the auspices of the German Medical Informatics Initiative and the German Federal Ministry for Research, brought together several national research infrastructure programmes to consider the commonalities they share, challenges they have each tackled and opportunities for stronger collaboration.
Dipak Kalra gave the opening keynote presentation, and will work with Sebastian Semler, CEO of TMF, on future plans for a joint in-person event in the second half of next year that will bring together the national and European research infrastructure and big data initiatives.
