The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) is taking part in a symposium to push for the transformation of health systems through digital solutions. i~HD president Prof. Dipak Kalra will be speaking in the “Digital innovations in healthcare: what’s happening?” symposium organised by ASTP.
Dipak will lead the first session of the symposium with his presentation entitled “The vital role of health data to drive digital innovation”. This session will highlight the call towards digital innovators in healthcare to “build collaborative solutions that can connect using interoperability standards to other technology components to be safe and maximally effective.”
The presentation will also touch on the intersection of health data and policies such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The i~HD President will also take the helm in the symposium’s panel discussion.
i~HD’s involvement in this symposium (as well as in other engagements) is a testament to our organisation’s commitment towards the trustworthy use of high-quality health data to continuously improve care and accelerate research.
The symposium is scheduled on 13 April 2022, organised by ASTP, a non-profit member’s organisation “committed to knowledge transfer among universities and industry”.
