How does the National Joint Registry (NJR) monitor treatments and improve outcomes for people choosing and living with joint replacements?
1000’s of records are continuously collected, analysed and anonymised by The National Joint Registry (NJR) including Patient Reported Outcomes, individual surgeon’s performance, hospital performance against other hospitals and joint replacement device success.
The NJR combines Patient Reported Outcome Measures and Hospital Episode Statistics data which are shared and made accessible to everyone on the NJR website.
‘Understanding Patient Data’ provides you with more information and a video to help you discuss your joint replacement health needs with your surgeon.
This work uses data provided by patients and collected by the health professionals as part of the care and support provided.
