Constitution and Conduct
To comprise at least seven and no more than ten voting members, with stakeholder representation from at least all categories directly relevant to the Certification scheme:
- Two i~HD Senior representatives of the LabelDigitalHealth Network subdivision reporting on operations and acting upon the decisions of the Board
- One Certification Body representative representing the LabelDigitalHealth Certification Bodies and guaranteeing the uniformity of the certification process
- One Digital health product developer organisation overseeing the continuing fairness and impartiality of the assessment process
- Two Conformity Assessment Bodies representing the LabelDigitalHealth Conformity Assessment Bodies and overseeing capacity and consistency of the assessments across the Network
To include up to five observers, with specific invitation to participate:
Nominations for membership may be received by any channel. It is not a requirement for an open call for participation to be issued.
The initial appointments to the Governance Board will be proposed by the Task Force at the end of its mandate and will be ratified according to i-HD Articles of Association.
All Board members will produce and maintain annually a declaration of interests.
Board members will normally have a term of three years.
Subsequent appointments to the Governance Board, to replace outgoing members or to enlarge the Board will be made by consensus of the existing Board members.
The constitution, terms of reference and current membership of the Governance Board will be published and maintained on the web site of the LabelDigitalHealth organisation.
Governance Board meetings will be chaired and co-chaired by the senior representative of the LabelDigitalHealth and the LabelDigitalHealth Ambassador.
