A Decade of Trust in Health Data

i~HD, launched in 2016 during an inaugural conference in Paris, is headquartered in Ghent and works across all of Europe. We had initial funding from several companies to enable our launch and early work, which has continued and for which we are grateful. Nowadays much of our additional funding comes from EC projects across its multiple programmes. Through over 30 projects we have grown a rich collaboration network and health data community, through whom we discover and jointly enable new state-of-the-art health data opportunities, and together tackle their challenges. We have a strong core team, in the Ghent office and around Europe, each with unique and well recognised expertise that allows us to co-create good solutions to scale up the benefits to all from health data. We also treasure bringing our health data community together through our conferences, joining the dots by sharing initiatives, useful approaches, and for brainstorming with likeminded colleagues the tough data issues that remain. In the 10th Anniversary brochure you will find a summary of our story and impacts, our major workstreams, the areas of current innovation in which we are active and how we see the future for health data unfolding.
