This year marks a major milestone for the European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) as we celebrate a decade of advancing trust, innovation, and collaboration in the health data landscape. To honour this occasion, we are hosting a special 10th anniversary edition of our Annual Conference, “A Decade of Joining the Dots – Towards Bridging Data Spaces”. This event will look back on ten years of collaborations in improving healthcare and research through better use of data, and look ahead to the future with timely topics such as the European Health Data Space and the adoption of Artificial Intelligence by Health Systems.
As with previous editions, the conference will feature a series of plenary sessions, including keynotes from leading organisations, EU-funded projects and expert groups, alongside parallel sessions structured around core programme tracks. To mark this special anniversary, we are also delighted to invite attendees to a celebratory anniversary dinner on the evening of December 3rd.
This year’s conference promises to be a landmark gathering of policymakers, researchers, clinicians, innovators and patient representatives, all working together to shape the future of health data in Europe, responsibly and inclusively.

As part of this special week, i~HD’s eSource Scale Up Task Force will also be holding its first-ever eSource Conference on the 2nd of December titled “Scaling eSource Now: Building the Future of Real-Time Clinical Data”. This will bring together stakeholders from pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, technology vendors, and other partners to accelerate the scale-up of eSource in clinical research.

The conference will be held in the centre of the historic city of Ghent in Belgium, serviced by two train stations and close to key public transportation stops (bus and tram)
