EAHM Congress 2019: big data a key success factor for innovation but what about quality?
Following on from its successful conference in Gothenburg in November last year, i~HD continued its Scandinavian tour, to the city of Turku in Finland. i~HD ran a scientific track within the LIFE SCIENCE LIVE 2019 conference, on "Maximising the value of health data to all," which took place on the 15th and 16th of May 2019.
Life Science Live was a new international event for professionals in the fields of pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
The Life Science Live conference was structured by plenary keynotes and three parallel tracks:
- Scientific programme
- HealthBio Partnering Day
- i~HD track
The i~HD track consisted of three half-day sessions:
- The value of health data for Learning Health Systems
- How hospitals could measure and improve EHR data quality
- Complying with the GDPR when reusing EHR data in care and research
- Each session included presentations, panel discussions, and plenty of time for audience questions.
i~HD's President Dipak Kalra also gave one of the opening keynote talks at the conference.
