EAHM Congress 2019: big data a key success factor for innovation but what about quality?
Following on from its successful conference in Gothenburg in November last year, i~HD continued its Scandinavian tour, to the city of Turku in Finland. i~HD ran a scientific track within the LIFE SCIENCE LIVE 2019 conference, on "Maximising the value of health data to all," which took place on 15-16 May 2019.
Life Science Live was a new international event for professionals in the fields of pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
The Life Science Live conference was structured by plenary keynotes and three parallel tracks:
- Scientific programme
- HealthBio Partnering Day
- i~HD track
The i~HD track consisted of three half-day sessions:
- The value of health data for Learning Health Systems
- How hospitals could measure and improve EHR data quality
- Complying with the GDPR when reusing EHR data in care and research
- Each session included presentations, panel discussions, and plenty of time for audience questions.
i~HD's President Dipak Kalra also gave one of the opening keynote talks at the conference.
