The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) and its eSource Scale Up Task Force are once again present in the Newmarket Strategy and IgniteData event on 28 May 2026 in London, UK. This year's theme is "The Importance of Improving the UK's Data Infrastructure".
The Future of Healthcare and Life Sciences Research 2026
For the second year in a row, i~HD's eSource Scale Up Task Force will participate in Newmarket Strategy and IgniteData's event, led by i~HD's Senior Industry Scientific Director Mats Sundgren who will be chairing the session "From Interoperabiity to Clinical Trial Comptetitiveness: Lessons from the German NUM Hospital Network".
This session will put the spotlight on the German network of university hospitals, how they transformed fragmented hospital systems into a collaborative research platform and the lessons that can be learned by health data infrastructure in the UK.
Members of the eSource Task Force will also be present at this event, which brings together about 120 senior leaders to discuss how data infrastructure investments can address financial pressures and support commercial research income.
