i~HD joins first-ever Conference on Leadership & AI in Research

Four colleagues of The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) will be joining the first-ever Conference on Leadership & AI in Research (CLAIR) in Copenhagen, Denmark on 16-18 September 2026, co-organised by i~HD Senior Industry Scientific Director Mats Sundgren. This international conference convenes senior leaders, researchers and strategists from research-intensive industries to address how artificial intelligence is reshaping the foundations of research, engineering and innovation.

• i~HD's Senior Industry Scientific Director Mats Sundgren will be addressing the attendees during the Research Forum in the Opening session of Day 1 at 1PM, as part of the Steering Committee of the conference.
• He will speak on Day 2 or Main Conference Day at 9:40AM during the "AI in the Backseat" session in Stage 1, with a presentation called "Leadership, Method, and Accountability in an Accelerating Era"
• Later in the afternoon at 12:40PM, Mats will be part of a conversation with the participants in the session: "Leadership Dialogue: Evidence, Judgment, and AI in Research" 

• Nathan Lea, i~HD's Information Governance Lead and Data Protection Officer, will speak during the session "Governing AI in Organisational Innovation: Leadership, Trust, and Regulation in Practice".
