The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) will be present in the hybrid closing event of the QUANTUM project to be held in Brussels, Belgium on 27-28 May 2026.
i~HD to participate in QUANTUM's Final Event
After more than two years of work and collaboration, the QUANTUM project is now ready to present the highlights, milestones, achievements and results towards building more trustworthy and interoperable health data for secondary use in Europe.
i~HD colleagues will be part of the concluding presentations and discussions during this event, namely:
- Dipak Kalra - President
- Jens Declerck - Health Data Quality Manager
- Maite Vandevyvere - eLearning Operator
During the course of the project, i~HD worked together with the project partners in various work areas, and led the work package on capacity building, community engagement and scale up. This work package aimed to address the capacity building and training needs of the health data access bodies through educational and supporting materials, access to good practices documentation and recommendations to decision makers.
One of the key milestones that i~HD has provided its expertise under this work package is a report on understanding stakeholder training needs for high-quality data. This included a survey on various individuals coming from different roles in the health data ecosystem to map how different stakeholders approach health data quality, assess their current skills and identify main causes of data quality issues that they encounter.
The QUANTUM Final Event will be held in Brussels, Belgium (with online participation possibility) on 27-28 May 2026.
