The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD), together with a group of 39 organisations, has recently co-signed and published a joint statement on the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
i~HD discusses the EHDS and health data reuse with Global Health Press
The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) participated in a specially scheduled video event by the Global Health Press (GHP) last 2 June 2023. i~HD President Dipak Kalra delivered a talk entitled “European Health Data Space (EHDS): EU health data collection and data safety: impact in the estimation of burden of VPISs”.
In the “Global Health Cast Special 6”, hosted by GHP’s editor-in-chief Prof. Heinz-Josef Schmitt, Prof. Kalra discussed the proposed regulation for the EHDS and its impact and potential benefits in health data and provided a glance at the current landscape of health data use and reuse in the collection and safety standpoint.
