The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) is one of the contributors for deliverable 1.3 “Data collection and processing” that is now made publicly available.

This deliverable is focused on the data collection and processing activities carried out for two use cases, namely sickle cell disease and acute myeloid leukaemia, and includes ethical approvals, collection of multimodal data types and the implementation of the OMOP Common Data Model.

As SYNTHEMA’s aim is to create cross-border data infrastructure for clinical data standardisation, this deliverable also includes analyses on user requirements, data quality aspects and alignment with RADeep and ENROL registries to ensure harmonised and standardised datasets for future platform development and federated AI validation.

i~HD is one of the project partners of SYNTHEMA, also known as “Synthetic generation of hematological data over federated computing frameworks”. I~HD’s Information Governance Lead Nathan Lea was involved in the creation of this deliverable.
