The European Institute for Innovation through Health Data (i~HD) proudly announces the release of the “eSource Data Flow Patterns” Annex, a major addition to the eSource Playbook.
Unlocking Scalable eSource: New eSource Playbook Annex released by i~HD
This new annex, now the third white paper from the Task Force, presents four core EHR-to-EDC integration patterns and collaboration models that enable scalable, standards-based, and GCP-compliant clinical trial data exchange.
Developed by the eSource Scale Up Task Force, it draws on real-world experience and strategic foresight from a diverse group of stakeholders, including Mayo Clinic, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Cambridge and Essen University Hospitals, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Regeneron, and Sanofi.
The Task Force is continuing to work on future annexes to the Playbook addressing:
- Value demonstration (e.g., timeline impact, SDV reduction)
- Contracting frameworks (data access, rights, reuse)
- Therapeutic area extensions and innovations such as AI-driven eSource
