Aiding policy and large-scale deployment of digital health

The EU aims to provide all citizens access to safe and top-quality digital health and care services. In line with the European Commission’s Digital Single Market strategy, the top priorities were to ensure secure access to their health data, to personalise medicine through a shared European data infrastructure, and to empower citizens with digital tools for person-centred care. The EU-funded DigitalHealthEurope project provided comprehensive support for the digital transformation of health and care. It supported large-scale deployment of digital solutions for person-centred care, facilitating the replication of impactful best practices through twinning actions. On a policy level, the project supported decision-makers with white papers, guidelines, and policy recommendations.
