Sonia Priou

Sonia Priou leads projects focused on health data quality, including data quality assessment, improvement strategies, and reporting. She received her PhD from Université Paris-Saclay, CentraleSupélec in France, where her research addressed the challenges in the design and operation of clinical data warehouses. Since defending her thesis in December 2024, she has continued to work on enhancing data quality in healthcare, drawing on her expertise in data science, machine learning, and system evaluation. Sonia also has experience in the public health sector as a Data Scientist at Greater Paris University Hospitals (AP-HP, France), where she developed machine learning models—including natural language processing (NLP) and classification algorithms—to optimise patient care pathways.
